Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Reduces Costs with Integrated VoIP and FoIP System

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office depended on heavy fax communication for critical paperwork, but was operating 15 standalone fax machines and wanted to connect faxing to its new VoIP phone system to cut costs and improve workflow. FaxCore, using Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 Fax Software, was selected to help replace manual, paper-heavy fax processes and eliminate expensive analog fax circuits.

FaxCore and Dialogic implemented a network fax solution integrated with the office’s VoIP infrastructure, with TransOptions Messaging as the implementation partner. The result was a successful FoIP deployment using 20 DID lines that consolidated VoIP and fax on one network, reduced overall costs, and removed the need for dedicated analog fax circuits while supporting future expansion.
