Telekom Slovenije Selects Dialogic To Help Transform Its Switching and Session Control Infrastructure

Telekom Slovenije, the leading communications provider in Slovenia, needed to modernize its aging Session Border Controller and switching infrastructure to improve functionality, integration, and lower total cost of ownership. It turned to Dialogic and its ControlSwitch System and BorderNet 4000 Session Border Controller to support its IP transformation and better serve growing traffic demands.

Dialogic implemented the ControlSwitch System as the core of Telekom Slovenije’s new International Exchange and replaced the legacy SBC platform with BorderNet 4000 units at two locations. The migration was completed in just three months with no reported issues, improving session performance, provisioning speed, operational efficiency, and billing accuracy through tighter integration, unified CDRs, and better alarm and call-trace visibility.
