Possimo Technologies, a Kuala Lumpur-based telecom software developer, needed to help a Malaysian mobile operator replace a slow, fraud-prone SMS-based prepaid replenishment system that forced dealers to type lengthy codes and created delays, errors, and security risks. The customer wanted a faster, more reliable, and easier-to-use solution for thousands of daily mobile minute transactions, and Possimo built it using Dialogic technology.
Possimo Technologies implemented a USSD-based replenishment platform with Dialogic® SIU and a Dialogic Signaling Server to handle SS7 connectivity in a secure, session-based system. With Dialogic, integration took less than two hours and the solution deployed smoothly in a high-transaction environment; performance improved from 10 tps to 33 tps, transaction time dropped from 30 seconds to 7 seconds, and dealer training time fell from 1–3 days to just a few hours.
