Kaefer Isoliertechnik Begins Successfully Deploying Unified Communications Worldwide

Kaefer Isoliertechnik, a global industrial company with more than 14,000 employees, wanted to replace its fragmented mix of fax, phone, email, and conferencing tools with a single worldwide unified communications platform. To support that goal, Kaefer worked with Bressner Technology and chose Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, with Dialogic media gateways used to connect new IP-based communications to legacy TDM and PBX systems.

Dialogic’s 4000 Media Gateway Series helped integrate the UC environment across branches while preserving interoperability, scalability, and voice security. The rollout started with 150 users in Bremen and expanded internationally, giving employees access to all communications through one interface and delivering clear efficiency gains and strong user acceptance, with plans to connect all 400 users in Bremen and Kaefer’s 22 German branches.
