IP TouchCall Modernizes Operations on Czech Railway

The Czech Republic needed to modernize its national railway dispatching center to improve operations, centralize remote site control, and lower operating and maintenance costs. To do this, it selected IP TouchCall from TTC Telekomunikace, with Dialogic components such as Dialogic Host Media Processing Software helping power the new communications platform.

Dialogic helped enable a solution that replaced multiple isolated voice terminals and networks with a single compact dispatching system. The result was a central communications hub that reduced total cost of ownership and operational expenditure, simplified upgrades and maintenance through standard PC-based hardware, and supported recording, broadcasts, and compatibility with GSM-R.
