Paulaner cuts lighting energy use by 73% with Dialight

The customer, Paulaner Brewery Group, faced a challenge with the lighting in its covered truck driveway. The existing 400W HID fixtures were energy-intensive, had high maintenance costs, and could not be switched on and off on demand, creating a safety concern for pedestrians. Paulaner sought an energy-saving and low-maintenance lighting system to support its environmental goals and turned to vendor Dialight for a solution using their LED High Bay fixtures.

Dialight implemented its LED High Bay lighting, which was integrated with a new sensor-controlled bus system for on-demand switching. This solution reduced the system's power consumption from 6.2 kW to 2.4 kW, achieving a 73% energy savings despite the addition of two extra fixtures. The improved light quality increased safety in the driveway, and Paulaner was highly satisfied with the cooperation and the results delivered by Dialight.
