Kuehne & Nagel cuts energy use by 555,735 kWh and pays back in 1.1 years with Dialight

Kuehne & Nagel, a global logistics provider, sought to reduce energy consumption and improve light quality at its UK warehouse facility. The existing high pressure sodium lighting was inefficient, provided poor illumination for workers, and required costly and disruptive maintenance. The company selected Dialight and its DuroSite LED High Bay fittings to address this challenge.

Dialight implemented a solution using 126 LED High Bay fixtures to replace the older lighting. This resulted in massive energy savings of over 555,735 kWh per year, cutting carbon emissions by 271 tonnes and saving over £42,000 annually. The vastly improved light quality enhanced working conditions and the project achieved a payback period of just 1.1 years.
