Koehler Paper Group cuts lighting energy use by 64% with Dialight

Koehler Paper Group, a global paper manufacturer, faced the challenge of reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs from its aging 440W metal halide high bay lights. These energy-hungry fixtures operated continuously, were difficult and disruptive to maintain at a 17-meter height, and attracted dust that impaired their performance. Dialight provided the solution to this challenge.

Dialight implemented a one-for-one replacement of 164 fixtures with its DuroSite Series LED high bays. This switch resulted in an immediate 64% reduction in energy use and CO2 emissions, saving 436,740 kWh and 308 tonnes annually. The LED solution from Dialight also eliminated maintenance for 100,000 hours, improved light quality, and removed contamination risks to the production line.
