Henkel cuts energy use by 75% with Dialight

Henkel, a major manufacturer and Fortune Global 500 company, sought to reduce energy consumption and improve lighting efficiency at its wastewater treatment plant in Puerto Rico. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Dialight for a trial installation of their SafeSite LED fixtures.

Dialight's solution involved replacing sixteen 250W high-pressure sodium fittings with just twelve of their 100W SafeSite LED lights. This implementation by Dialight resulted in a 75% reduction in energy needs for the lighting system and vastly improved illumination quality, leading to annual energy savings of nearly $3,500. Additional benefits included lower maintenance costs due to the fixtures' long lifespan and a five-year warranty.
