G.S. Dunn cuts lighting energy use with Dialight LED High Bays

G.S. Dunn, a dry mustard maker, faced challenges with its quality inspection facility's lighting. The existing 450W metal halide fixtures provided poor color rendering and degraded over time, compromising product inspection. They were also expensive to operate and required frequent, costly maintenance. To improve visibility and reduce energy consumption, G.S. Dunn turned to vendor Dialight for a solution using their DuroSite LED High Bay fixtures.

Dialight implemented a solution by replacing 18 metal halide fixtures with their 150W LED high bays. This provided superior, crisp white light for better quality assurance. The results included dramatic energy savings from the reduced wattage and the elimination of a 24-hour burn time, thanks to the LEDs' instant-on capability. Dialight's solution also significantly reduced maintenance costs due to the long lifespan of the LED fixtures.
