Anglo-Normandy Aero Engineering triples hangar lux to 400 with Dialight

Anglo-Normandy Aero Engineering's aircraft maintenance hangar suffered from insufficient lighting, with only 140 lux at the work level against a target of 350 lux. Previous attempts to fix the issue with early LED technology had been inadequate. The company challenged Dialight to provide a proper solution.

Dialight implemented its state-of-the-art 250W LED high bay fixtures. This solution nearly tripled light levels to over 400 lux while reducing power draw. The installation also eliminated future maintenance needs thanks to a 10-year warranty and allowed for further energy savings by eliminating the long re-strike delays associated with the previous metal halide lights.
