Putting SWIFTNet connectivity into the heart of treasury

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, a multinational bottler operating in 28 countries, needed to simplify and centralize its treasury during a major SAP rollout. Lacking in-house expertise to establish direct SWIFT connectivity, the company engaged DH Corporation as a SWIFT service bureau to integrate SWIFTNet connectivity with its SAP treasury (including Bank Communication Management) and replace multiple proprietary bank message types.

DH Corporation implemented SWIFTNet connectivity, initially linking one bank in 2010 and then seven more, enabling standardized messaging (including ISO 20022) and centralized treasury operations that went live at the start of 2011. The project put 24 of 28 countries onto the SAP platform with common connectivity, delivered estimated multi‑million euro annual savings through reduced accounts and operational costs, improved liquidity visibility and faster cash position reporting, and provided more efficient, secure payments processing.
