Nyrstar, a global mining and metals business with operations across Europe, the Americas and Australia, faced an inefficient, decentralized payments environment in which each site used its own bank portals and proprietary electronic banking systems. To consolidate bank connectivity, reduce administration and improve security and cash visibility, Nyrstar selected DH Corporation to provide a SWIFT connectivity service bureau and an SAP-integrated cash management/connectivity solution.

DH Corporation implemented a phased migration from multiple bank-specific systems into a single SWIFT bureau integrated with Nyrstar’s SAP ERP, completing the initial rollout in about three months. The change delivered measurable benefits: network availability of 99.9%, significant cost savings, an expected full payback within five years, and operational time savings of roughly 15–20 minutes per back-office employee per day, along with centralized authorizations, improved cash visibility, and easier onboarding of future banking connections.
