Case Study: Bank of America achieves global payments consolidation and accelerated expansion with DH Corporation

A DH Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Bank of America Case Study

Lays the Groundwork for a Major Global Expansion

Bank of America faced a fragmented payments environment made up of seven separate applications that couldn’t provide truly global support, led to customer confusion and errors, and slowed product changes and regulatory responses. After evaluating vendors and running proofs of concept, the bank selected DH Corporation’s Global PAYplus as the integrated payments platform to streamline formats, reduce errors, and enable faster, rules-driven product changes.

DH Corporation implemented Global PAYplus with a service‑oriented architecture and a powerful rules engine, allowing feature changes by rule rather than lengthy code rewrites and enabling a single portal for payment status and real‑time STP validation. The move will let Bank of America retire the seven legacy systems (cutting associated hardware, software and maintenance costs), accelerate time‑to‑market (previous 9–12 month changes now done via rules), improve straight‑through processing rates, and support market expansion in countries such as India and Brazil.
