First Financial’s Small Marketing Staff Gets Big Results with Help from MCIF Services

First Financial Bank, a $6.4 billion, 105-branch institution based in Cincinnati, needed to execute highly targeted, data-driven marketing without expanding its seven-person marketing team. To avoid hiring and to manage complex direct mail and multi-channel campaigns, First Financial engaged DH Corporation for MCIF Managed Services and to leverage Touché Analyzer and Touché Messenger (with P$YCLE behavioral codes).

DH Corporation ran the data management, segmentation, campaign setup and production, enabling an onboarding program that achieved about a 12% response rate (vs. a 6% industry average) and a Share of Wallet effort that, in the first 18 months, generated more than 6,800 direct-response new accounts, $8.6M in new deposits and $18.8M in new loans (17,042 accounts, $29.7M deposits and $54.1M loans when indirect responses are included). First Financial retained access and control of its lists while DH Corporation handled execution as an extension of the bank’s team.
