Snap-on Tools franchisee Doug Cesmegi faced growing payment-collection headaches as his business expanded—processing about $16,000 a month through cards, cash and checks and paying roughly 3% per card transaction. As a result Cesmegi cut his monthly credit-card processing bill by about half (saving $200–$300/month), processed more than 190 transactions totaling over $16,000 in a month through the system, reduced missed or stopped payments, and reported happier, more secure customers.
