Credit Union’s Vehicle Loan Promotion Generates Nearly $10 Million in Loans from a $42,400 Investment

Citizens Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU) faced stagnant loan volumes after a sluggish economy and wanted to kick-start vehicle loan acquisition and recapture among existing members. To run a targeted, data-driven direct-mail program and better engage branch staff, CEFCU partnered with DH Corporation and implemented Touché Analyzer, Touché Messenger and Encore Teller.

DH Corporation’s approach used Touché Analyzer to pre-screen members and append offer codes, Touché Messenger to push personalized campaign scripts to tellers via Encore Teller, and a digitally personalized self-mailer to drive responses. The $42,400 campaign exceeded CEFCU’s $4 million goal, produced a single-day record of $4 million in loans, and resulted in 476 responders opening 493 vehicle loans totaling $9.91 million, demonstrating a strong, measurable return on investment.
