After Paying the Price for a “Free” Teller System, South Central Bancshares of Kentucky Returns to EZTeller®

South Central Bancshares of Kentucky, a holding company of five chartered banks with 26 offices, had been a long‑time user of EZTeller but switched to the integrated (no‑charge) teller included with a new core system. That replacement proved slower, forced tellers to change workflows, caused cross‑charter posting problems and risks to BSA compliance, degrading customer service and generating extra IT support requests — so the bank turned back to DH Corporation’s EZTeller to solve those issues.

DH Corporation re‑implemented EZTeller as an interface to the core, restoring fast account access, workflow flexibility and mandatory compliance controls. The change eliminated the integration pain points (upgrades had previously taken 20–30 minutes per workstation), reduced disgruntled IT calls, improved teller productivity and customer service, and enabled posting across the holding company’s five charters — outcomes South Central credits directly to DH Corporation and EZTeller.
