Murat Kurt of Accountancy Assist, a sole practitioner serving mainly city professionals, needed a way to handle bookkeeping and client document chasing more efficiently as he aimed to grow his practice without hiring staff. He was using cloud software such as Sage Accountant Cloud, but manual invoice processing was still taking too much time and limiting how many clients he could take on.

With Dext, then known as Receipt Bank, Accountancy Assist streamlined the capture and publishing of invoices and receipts into Sage under the correct nominal codes. The result was a major increase in capacity: Murat grew from around 50 clients to about 140 in roughly a year while still working alone, and he believes he could potentially handle 200 to 250 clients with Dext’s help.
