G4S builds a global security platform for 800,000 employees with Devstars

G4S, a global security company with operations in over 85 countries, faced the challenge of manually compiling and distributing monthly security reports for its clients. This labor-intensive process was not fast enough to keep up with the rapidly changing global security landscape. Devstars was engaged to help modernize this critical service.

Devstars conceived and built a bespoke security platform for G4S. The solution allowed G4S agents worldwide to input structured data on threats, which was then disseminated to subscribers via a web portal and configurable email alerts. The system was so successful that it was later bought in-house by G4S and was still running at the time of the case study. A G4S founder was quoted describing their experience working with Devstars as hugely positive.
