The Israeli defense technology company Aitech Systems Ltd. faced the challenge of developing a real-time human posture detection system capable of running on low-cost, low-power Nvidia Jetson hardware. DevsData LLC designed and implemented a custom, lightweight computer vision solution using a hybrid C++ and Python architecture with OpenCV and custom CUDA bindings for GPU acceleration. This approach replaced heavy deep learning models with optimized algorithmic engineering, achieving the required real-time performance and accuracy on the constrained hardware. The successful delivery provided Aitech with a cost-effective, reliable system that also established a scalable foundation for future enhancements like gesture recognition, meeting all their operational goals.
