Altri, a leading Portuguese eucalyptus pulp and renewable energy producer, faced a challenge in consolidating data from its many business areas. Their existing SAP extensive manual work in Excel. They engaged vendor DevScope to perform a proof of concept using Power BI to address this business intelligence need.

DevScope implemented a scalable Power BI solution that started with a small proof of concept and grew to incorporate all of Altri's major business areas. By migrating their infrastructure to Azure Data Lake and using Azure Data Factory, DevScope enabled real-time data analysis, replacing manual monthly processes. The results included daily analysis in forest management, real-time expense tracking, and automated predictive cost models, fostering a new data-driven culture across the company.
