Case Study: LightOn accelerates AWS migration and ML model automation with Devoteam

LightOn – pioneer of GenAI has chosen to migrate to the AWS Cloud

LightOn, a pioneer in generative AI, faced the challenge of scaling its infrastructure to support its rapid growth. They needed to migrate their entire operation from another cloud provider to AWS, specifically requiring the on-demand provisioning of powerful GPUs across different continents and ensuring maximum scalability and stability. To accelerate this migration and automate their machine learning processes, they partnered with vendor Devoteam.

Devoteam implemented the solution by creating a Terraform-based Landing Zone following AWS best practices and migrating all of LightOn's resources, including their GitLab instance. A key achievement was the automation of their machine learning model creation and distribution process on the AWS Marketplace using Amazon SageMaker. The result was a huge time savings for LightOn, who now benefit from a streamlined, stable infrastructure that allows them to test and deploy new models more rapidly and efficiently.
