UCS Technology Services, a South Africa–based IT services provider with about 480 employees that supports retailers, faced frustration from IT staff managing long, constantly changing lists of server details and handling frequent support queries when IPs or passwords changed. To solve this, UCS turned to Devolutions and its Remote Desktop Manager product to centralize remote connection management.
Devolutions’ Remote Desktop Manager consolidated access to all internal and external servers into a centrally managed database with AD integration and multi-connectivity support, so credentials, IPs and connection methods are stored and controlled in one place. The result: support staff no longer have to maintain connection details or remember external passwords, login-related support queries dropped, connectivity was streamlined, and teams could focus on resolving customer issues rather than tracking access information.
