How RDM Helped BCS Group to Keep Track of Their Servers and Efficiently Centralize Their Data

BCS Group, headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand and employing over 300 people, struggled as rapid growth made it difficult to keep track of servers, names, login details and IPs. With teams and partners distributed across time zones, maintaining an accurate, centralized pool of connection data became an administrative burden and productivity risk. To solve this, BCS Group turned to Devolutions and its Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) product.

Devolutions deployed Remote Desktop Manager across BCS Group in 2010, centralizing the connection database and giving global staff reliable access to the correct servers. RDM’s offline cache improved remote productivity, while per-user credentials, access controls and scripting for VPN logons and workflows reduced administrative overhead and strengthened security. The result, according to BCS Group, was a measurable improvement in efficiency and productivity and easier, more secure access to infrastructure.
