HES-SO//Fribourg secures 500–600 VMs with Devolutions

The HES-SO//Fribourg, a university in Switzerland, needed an easy-to-implement solution to manage passwords for hundreds of VMs and handle remote connections without requiring extensive training for its system administrators. They turned to Devolutions to address these challenges.

By implementing Devolutions Server and PAM, the university gained superior visibility and control over password and access management. The solution was user-friendly and allowed for easy launching of remote sessions. As a result, HES-SO//Fribourg plans to further integrate Devolutions PAM, implement password rotation, and adopt Devolutions Gateway to replace VPNs for more secure access.
