HES-SO//Fribourg, a university of applied sciences and arts in Switzerland, needed an easily implementable solution to manage passwords and remote connections for its 500-600 virtual machines. The system administrators sought a user-friendly platform that would not require extensive training for their team to use effectively.

Devolutions provided its solutions, including Devolutions Server and Devolutions PAM, which were combined with Remote Desktop Manager to create a comprehensive system. This gave the institution improved visibility and control over password and access management. As a result, HES-SO//Fribourg gained the ability to easily launch remote sessions and access all passwords from a single, centralized location. They also have future plans to further enhance security by implementing Devolutions Gateway to replace VPNs and to equip other departments with a password manager.
