Cytexone Technology uses RDM Support for SSH to improve Productivity

CytexOne Technology, a New York City–based provider of advanced technology solutions, was running outdated remote-access software that prevented use of modern RDP security, VNC and SSH. That forced CytexOne to maintain separate lists of IPs and credentials, tolerate frequent downtime when root passwords changed, and accept risky password sharing. To address these issues they turned to Devolutions and its Remote Desktop Manager (RDM).

Devolutions implemented Remote Desktop Manager across CytexOne’s environment, enabling SSH and many other protocols, centralized credential storage, built‑in permissions to stop password sharing and prevent accidental deletions, and automatic updates. As a result — per CytexOne’s system administrator — the team saw clear productivity gains: root and domain admin password changes and access failures have become rare, downtime and credential chaos were dramatically reduced, and more staff can now manage *nix systems, increasing flexibility and knowledge sharing.
