Automatic Data Processing (ADP), a global provider of HR, payroll and integrated computing solutions, needed to centralize and secure customer equipment and access information after finding RoyalTS inadequate for a centralized, multi-protocol environment. ADP selected Devolutions and its Remote Desktop Manager product to provide a shared, scalable interface that would let engineers, sales and trainers access and manage client data while protecting sensitive information.

Devolutions implemented Remote Desktop Manager with a SQL Server backend, delivering centralized storage, built‑in logging, role‑based rights (e.g., read‑only for sales), offline access for field engineers, and Active Directory import to speed user support. The solution eliminated disparate per‑engineer copies, increased productivity, improved security visibility, and produced substantial time savings and easier retrieval of install/support information for ADP.
