We Heart It, a social network for inspiring images, partnered with DeviQA to improve QA coverage and speed up release decisions. The team needed to automate 95% of the application, run tests across six browsers in many parallel threads, avoid collisions in parallel execution, and establish a formal QA process from scratch.

DeviQA built a custom automation framework using WebDriverIO, JavaScript, Jenkins, BrowserStack, JMeter, and related tools, with API and database setup to speed up test prerequisites. They deployed the suite on a 64GB RAM server with virtual machines and about 40–45 browsers running in parallel, reducing 2,000 test scenarios from 12 hours to 2 hours and enabling faster “can we deploy?” decisions, along with integrated bug tracking and reporting.
