Solebit, now part of Mimecast, needed to overhaul its QA process for zero-day malware and unknown threat detection. The existing automation suite was cumbersome to run manually from a terminal, produced unwieldy results, took more than 20 hours to finish, and lacked build history and a scalable architecture. DeviQA was brought in to improve test execution and reporting, while also supporting manual testing and QA consulting.

DeviQA built a robust automation framework for REST APIs and related workflows using the Faraday library, with integrations across Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, and LXC containers. The team created more than 25,000 automated tests, enabled parallel execution across 30 machines, and introduced clean reporting and simpler test runs without technical intervention. As a result, build time was reduced by 10x, and the client reported completing a build in about 3 hours instead of the projected 15 hours.
