M-BET, a betting company, needed to run web application performance testing with 5,000 real users in real browsers, which standard tools like JMeter and NeoLoad could not support. DeviQA worked on performance testing for critical user flows, but faced challenges such as realtime bet updates, production-only testing constraints, anti-DDoS protections, and frequent UI/backend changes.

DeviQA used Selenide for automation and Zalenium on Kubernetes to orchestrate and scale browser-based load testing across a large AWS-based cluster. The solution enabled parallel execution from multiple machines and uncovered major bottlenecks in the frontend, backend, and GraphQL server; although the client expected 5,000+ users, the first run showed the system could support only 77 users without downtime.
