Case Study: Triodos Bank Controls USB Risk with DeviceLock

A DeviceLock Case Study

Preview of the Triodos Bank Case Study

Triodos Bank - Customer Case Study

Triodos Bank, a socially responsible bank operating across five countries, needed to reduce the risk of data leakage through local device ports. After a 2004 risk assessment, the bank identified USB access on employee desktops and laptops as a top security priority. It chose DeviceLock® from DeviceLock to help address the challenge.

DeviceLock implemented software controls across Triodos Bank’s 170 desktops and 80 laptops running Windows 2000, restricting USB and other device-port usage at the endpoint. The rollout was completed without significant problems, and the bank accepted the tighter controls as a necessary security measure. DeviceLock helped Triodos Bank close its USB security gap and better manage device-level risks.
