Seafish - Customer Case Study

Seafish, a UK Non-Departmental Public Body focused on promoting sustainable seafood, needed to address a growing security risk as more than 70% of its workforce worked remotely. The organization was seeing increasing virus infections introduced through USB devices and also needed to comply with government requirements for protecting personal and business-critical data. Seafish turned to DeviceLock DLP for endpoint security and device control.

DeviceLock implemented centralized control over ports and peripherals, including USB device restrictions, white-listing, audit logging, and data shadowing through integration with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies. The solution helped Seafish become compliant with secure remote working requirements, reduced vulnerability to security breaches, and protected against virus attacks without disrupting critical systems or hardware. Seafish also reported that the initial trial performed above expectations and that staff could use USB devices safely.
