HEINEKEN Breweries LLC, a subsidiary of HEINEKEN N.V., needed a way to prevent confidential information leaks across its Russian operations while also meeting corporate information security policies and Russian Federal Law № 152-FZ on personal data. To address this challenge, the company selected DeviceLock Endpoint DLP to control access to peripheral storage and transmission devices using local enforcement agents on corporate computers.

DeviceLock implemented a combined DLP approach with DeviceLock Endpoint DLP and NetworkLock to protect both locally attached devices and network channels such as email, instant messaging, and file sharing. HEINEKEN Breweries LLC deployed the solution in-house using Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory Group Policies, with audit logs and shadow files centralized on one management server. As a result, DeviceLock gave HEINEKEN reliable control over information access and transfer, helping prevent data breaches and investigate incidents involving confidential information leakage.
