Kindred at Home faced a fragmented hospice environment and continued paper-based clinical documentation after acquiring 150 Gentiva hospice locations, and sought a single, field-capable EMR. Having previously rolled out DeVero’s cloud-based EMR across its home health agencies, Kindred at Home chose DeVero again to standardize hospice documentation and speed implementation.
DeVero implemented its adaptable cloud EMR across 179 hospice locations in just 10 weeks, deploying in six waves with remote support and enabling up to 75 locations to go live on a single day with no loss of revenue or productivity. The rollout trained 6,200 users by year-end, preserved familiar forms and workflows to ease adoption, and delivered integrations and tools (HIS, IDG/IDT, pharmacy/predictive analytics) that position Kindred at Home for measurable improvements in workflow, care delivery and quality.
