Feld Care Connects, a Westlake Village home-therapy provider that has served more than 12,000 patients since 2013, faced a high-volume, paper-based documentation challenge: therapists were documenting on paper and faxing or emailing notes to a central office and partner home health agencies, which was inefficient and unsustainable. To standardize clinical documentation, ensure Medicare-compliance, and enable mobile workflows, Feld Care Connects selected the DeVero EMR for its ease of use and flexibility.
DeVero implemented an adaptable EMR that lets clinicians document in patients’ homes, control their own workflow, and give partner agencies immediate access to electronic notes. The solution eliminated manual paper handoffs, improved clinician collaboration and continuity of care, accelerated communication of vital signs and care needs to homecare nurses and doctors, and enabled Feld Care Connects to scale services (including pediatrics) and expand geographically while operating from a single office.
