Crealtis moves to Azure and speeds data transfers with Devart SDAC

Crealtis, a French software development company specializing in applications for social housing and property management, faced a significant challenge when its Delphi-based software could not transition to a cloud-based SaaS model on Azure using its existing ADO framework. This technical barrier blocked further product evolution. The company turned to vendor Devart for a solution using its SQL Server Data Access Components (SDAC) product.

Devart's SDAC provided a direct replacement for ADO, enabling stable connections to SQL Server hosted in Azure without requiring a complete application rewrite. The solution was easily integrated into the existing Delphi codebase, facilitating a smooth transition to the cloud. As a result, Crealtis successfully moved to a SaaS model, achieving better availability, stronger security, and a more scalable software delivery model that supported future business growth.
