Gents delivers a proof of concept in 2 months with Dev and Deliver

Dev and Deliver was engaged by Gents to develop a progressive web application for the Swedish barbershop market. The challenge was to build a proof-of-concept app that connected customers with barbers renting chairs, which required integrating two unfamiliar but standard Swedish systems: the Swish payment provider and BankID authentication. A further complexity was designing an intuitive flow for hairdressers to book chairs based on location, studio, and preferred hours.

The solution implemented by Dev and Deliver was a React.js PWA with a backend. Their team of designers and developers first created wireframes to design the complex chair rental flow, resulting in a calendar view for hairdressers. The proof of concept delivered in just two months included both user experiences, integrated Swish payments, and BankID authentication, after which the client took the successful prototype in-house.
