KRY, a healthcare app offering video consultations with licensed doctors, needed to meet the strict security requirements demanded by county councils for handling sensitive patient data. Running on AWS, KRY sought a security partner with deep AWS expertise — Detectify, built on AWS and experienced with AWS services, serverless patterns and Docker on AWS, was selected as the right fit.

Detectify consulted with KRY and implemented continuous security testing of the whole environment, including production, with targeted tests for AWS components such as CloudFront and S3 buckets. As a result, KRY now uses Detectify continuously to validate their security posture, has raised its internal security goals, and increased security awareness across the organisation, enabling safer operation of their AWS-hosted services.
