Orient Electric Limited (OEL), a part of the CK Birla Group, faced the challenge of managing the complex, legally-bound processes of its board and committee meetings. The company required a complete board portal software solution to move away from paper and improve collaboration and governance. They selected the electronic meetings software from vendor Dess Digital Meetings to address this need.

The solution implemented was the Dess Board Portal software, which provided end-to-end functionality for paperless meetings. This included agenda and minutes management, digital signatures, and cross-platform compatibility. As a result, OEL's meetings became almost entirely paperless, with directors finding the platform very user-friendly and the entire process significantly smoother. Dess Digital Meetings' solution also enhanced organizational and corporate governance standards for the client.
