Case Study: Delonix Marketing Corporation achieves accurate attendance tracking and productivity-driven bonuses with DeskTime

A DeskTime Case Study

Productivity tracking helps to distinguish working versus "being in the office"

Delonix Marketing Corporation, an Australia–Philippines outsourced back-office and digital marketing firm with nearly 500 employees, struggled with unreliable attendance and productivity measurement: fingerprint biometrics allowed employees to sign in without actually working, log-ins/log-outs didn’t always match, and different teams needed different definitions of “productive” time. Founder and CEO Jeremy Morgan chose DeskTime’s time and productivity tracking software to automate attendance, distinguish real work from mere presence, and support team-specific productivity rules.

DeskTime was deployed to run automatically in the background, letting Delonix set different productive apps and websites per team and replace the unreliable biometric system. DeskTime provides visual weekly and monthly reports (daily productivity graphs and calendar views with absent days and start/finish times), supports automated attendance records, and enables the company to allocate bonuses for punctual and efficient employees. As a result, DeskTime improved the reliability of attendance data, clarified working versus “being in the office,” and is now being used to pilot a productivity-score–based bonus system to motivate staff.
