Sushi Tei, the Singapore-based Japanese F&B chain with 250+ menu items and more than 2,000 staff across Asia, faced growing inventory pain after opening a 2,000 sq. ft. warehouse in 2013: manual invoice tallying, no real-time inventory view, poor forecasting, frequent stockouts and excess labour made it hard to coordinate warehouse–outlet–supplier transactions. Sushi Tei engaged Deskera to assess these gaps and recommend an inventory automation solution.
Deskera implemented Deskera Inventory — a centralized web-based inventory platform (item & stock management, cycle counts, warehouse management, stockout management and reporting) — to automate warehouse, outlet and supplier workflows. The system delivered real-time tracking, improved forecasting and ordering, reduced excess stock and labour, and better warehouse organization; Deskera’s deployment produced a 70% increase in inventory-process productivity and enabled the Lower Delta warehouse to be managed by a single storekeeper.
