LHW Sachsen-Anhalt, the State Office for Flood Protection and Water Management in Saxony-Anhalt, managed around 800 systems across multiple locations and was struggling with manually maintained Android smartphones and tablets. Its IT team lacked clear version statuses for operating systems and apps, needed better protection for business data and lost devices, and wanted a way to reduce users’ administrator rights while keeping mobile device management compliant and under control.
