UKB Berlin, the Emergency Hospital Berlin, needed full control over its highly specialised IT environment, including network infrastructure, servers, applications, licences and security across all workplaces. To support this, it used Deskcenter Management Suite to centralise IT asset management and keep track of hardware, software, users, contracts and licence usage.

Deskcenter implemented a suite covering inventory, software management, OS deployment, patching, asset and licence management, and reporting, giving UKB Berlin a complete overview of systems and costs. The hospital reported no failures over six years, improved its ability to maintain secure and up-to-date systems, and used the reporting to plan major growth, including 200 new workstations for a new rehab building.
