The Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV) needed to automate its IT management because its small IT team was spending too much time on manual installation, support, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of systems and software. To address these challenges, SNV chose Deskcenter Management Suite from Deskcenter to centralize software distribution, patching, helpdesk, asset management, and operating system deployment.

With Deskcenter, SNV created MSI packages quickly, rolled out software and updates centrally, and used the integrated helpdesk to better link asset data with user support. Deskcenter also improved patch management and overall visibility across around 100 systems and servers, helping SNV reduce user support costs by 50% while making IT operations simpler, more stable, and easier for a two-person team to manage.
