The Global Climate Adaptation Partnership (GCAP) is a young, client-focused climate-change consultancy with partners and consultants across the USA, UK and Kenya — and already $1M in project contracts, a flagship African Development Bank engagement and international training activities. GCAP’s work is delivered through multi-organization consortia, so the company needed a simple, shared operating space to coordinate distributed teams, maintain high quality, streamline onboarding, and avoid heavy in-house clerical overhead.
GCAP adopted DeskAway to manage tasks, share files, post issues and route review workflows. Using task lists, in-app email alerts and document collaboration, teams collaborate on time and new members get up to speed quickly. The result: stronger project coordination and quality, reduced clerical burden, the ability to use off-site project managers, and greater client confidence in delivering to agreed work plans.
