IE Singapore, a Singapore government agency that promotes international trade and helps local companies go global, needed a reliable way to broadcast informational messages to everyone or to selected user groups instead of relying on email. They evaluated and trialed DeskAlerts’ internal communications/workforce notification solution to meet this requirement.

After trialing and tuning the software, IE Singapore adopted DeskAlerts as its primary workforce notification channel; DeskAlerts’ development team performed minor customizations so the system matched the agency’s needs. As a result IE Singapore replaced email newsletters with a more reliable, trackable solution for alerts such as “system down,” “email server down,” and training news, improving message delivery and monitoring.
