Companies House, the UK government agency that registers businesses, faced the challenge of reliably delivering timely notifications across its four regional satellite offices. To solve this need for consistent internal alerts, they implemented the DeskAlerts internal communications system.
DeskAlerts was deployed in all satellite offices with IT department representatives acting as software administrators, enabling cascading and targeted notifications about IT system issues and regional incidents (telephony, fire alarms, etc.). The solution improved communications across the organization, reduced the load on technical support, and streamlined internal workflows—DeskAlerts met Companies House’s requirements for reliable, site- and team-specific messaging.
