Baxalta, a biopharmaceutical company with more than 16,000 employees worldwide, needed a reliable way to inform staff about key system outages, recoveries and planned downtimes. To address this challenge, Baxalta engaged DeskAlerts and deployed the DeskAlerts system, installing notification agents for more than 3,000 employees in Austria.

The vendor’s user-friendly, flexible system reduced training time, allowed customizable access for content publishers, and ensured timely delivery of outage and downtime alerts—measurable by the successful rollout to over 3,000 Austrian employees and planned expansion to other regions.
